REJUVENATED and READY!

I'm Back!!!
Wow, how fast summer goes the older you get, (so I have heard) not that we get 2 1/2 months off like the kids but it does give parents a little less hustling (though this summer I found myself in the car more then ever) and summer this year seems even shorter due to mother nature protesting nice days. Ha!  Well with that being said just got back from an AMAZING girls vacation out East.

Sun, sand & water make for a great way to sit back take in the beauty around you and not rush  the days, we as adults don't get to do it very often. For me personally it was a way to recharge think of what is ahead for me with the year ending soon and a new one upon me.  I will be working on some new really versatile pieces that will be able to incorporated some of my resin designed charms.  I really think jewelry should be as versatile as the clothing we all wear. It lets us be artistic and show our differences like a large melting pot. I strongly believe designing pieces that are unique and not alike are what makes me unique plus I never did like being like everyone else......

I am a little behind finishing up some items due to my crazy schedule it does come first so my love for designing has to take a back seat from time to time but I work well under pressure and always seem to get done what need be so with that in mind I believe that the best designs come with time.

I have also been collecting unique components for some designs and taking in all I see around me and what comes of that will be a surprise to me just as much as all of you. Always on the edge!

TIME............Where does it go?

Well once again I find that the weeks have escaped me and I haven't written in a while. As fast as summer came upon us it seems to be whizzing by.   I seem to never have enough time or hands to get done what I want.  Been working on  my jewelry tags, and since I am such a perfectionist that likes to make a lasting statement it has been a challenge to find something that leaves a mark! The process has been a challenge working on a two side tag, sure I could just have had someone do it for me but where is the trill of accomplishment and gratification of making it my own. I think I have narrowed it down to what I saw in my head LOL! It started with looking for the right tag format and then fonts that had that edgy look and incorporating the right symbols and shading to work it into old world vintage look.

Designing from scratch is the best feeling, you watch something come to life. Here is a little view on the process as it all comes together:

Here is a look at what it has become. Some more tweaking is needed but its coming together! I have also been trying to work on some other jewelry pieces which always takes time since it requires me to sit with all my pieces out so I can envision what I want to be designed then look back at my drawings and create. Take a little peek..... at a new bracelet I am working on LOVEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE the matted black beads that have been rolled by hand (mine that is) they all have a unique shape to them to make it. It has become a fave being that it can dress up the simplest outfit or make a dressy occasion seem extraordinary classic

   

Before I sign off wanted to let everyone know that I also will from time to time be introducing some limited edition clothing that I feel are unique and have that it factor. I love different and its nice when you can see it with items that are not mass produced. My first item is a beautiful ivory lace dress that gets my approval 100%  I back everything I believe in just take a look....... well its time to enter the real world again until next time remember "LIFE IS WHAT YOU MAKE IT"

Well, I survived yet another challenge! It just amazes me how much you can learn if you just keep pushing yourself with new goals. Remember, just when you reach that mountain top there's another one to climb and conquer. The new website is up and the mobile is live also. You just never know what I may do next....or where I'll be.

I am trying to work on some new men's necklaces this week, but have been reverted back to the real world  with projects at  many of the other positions I hold!

There are times in life when there really just is not enough time to get everything done that you want. I know that you are suppose to just learn to enjoy life but try walking with me for a day. I think I am my worst own enemy, but you can't choose who you are you can run with what you have been blessed with and hope that all you do leaves a mark on someone or something..............................

I love creating items that leaves an impression on a person and show a little extension of who they are. There really is no limit to expression. Summers here and its the best time to add a little of everything to what you do so I hope you stop and visit the website and follow me thru the journey and path I walk.

Welcome To Eden's Edge Designs!

Wow! I can't believe I've not written for such a long time, but when real life decides to throw you a curve you gotta do everything to stay in the game.  Even though I've had some crazy days, weeks, and even long months I'm still standing and creating. A few things have changed thou  I started a new jewelry company it has been a project in the works for a while and getting it up running and stocked has been truly exhausting.  With that being said also launched my new website today which of course consumed time I really couldnt spare and tried my patience in every way shape and form even worse then kids!  I worked in between a few winks here and there. I'm a one woman show that thrives on perfection and originality and if it passes my self testing it makes the cut to be showcased.

Have a new line in the works thinking of warm weather and going back to the raw basics simply put all me just need to finish them up, picture them, and add to the store on the new website. This line is different from my other designs it is more rustic back to basics and brings the beauty in each of us out.

With the look all around of a fresh new spring and summer bringing all that was dull to life I seem to find myself reverting back to the real basics of my style.  I know anyone who knows me is smiling reading this, have no fear I am a sparkle girl at heart but my city glitz is meeting my rebel rustic charm! Give me a bikini, sand under my feet, water, & sunny day and you will find the real me all glammed out in accessories that accent a girl who never grew up! There is no right or wrong way when it comes to style its all in confidence and attitude and what you believe in.  Faith seems to always play a part in all our lives so of course alot of my designs have that incorporated, and a lot of my new designs will have recycled items that to some have lost meaning or are just overlooked alone, but when added with other items it comes to life. As the saying goes ",ones persons junk is another persons prized treasure." Beauty is in the eye of the beholder!!

I have been doing this so long that just when I think my path has been paved a another invades my thoughts so with that being said, the new line is devised from alot of recyled metals, stones,
